Here are a few of my top tips for any guy who wants to charm women.
Listen and pay attention to detail
I married a guy who all women adored (my bad luck) and one of his secrets to being adored by lots of women was that he made them all (without exception re age or beauty) feel like they were the only woman in the world.
He noticed changes in their hair styles, he listened to their problems, and he was a real pain in the ass! Grrr … but I fell for his charm just as every other woman did. He wasn’t particularly good looking or well educated he was just very attentive and interested in what women were about.
Women are always complaining that men don’t communicate enough so when a woman finds a man who does, she takes note.
Then there was a guy pal of mine, similar appeal but he was a more jovial cheeky chappy type. He had female friends many years older than him as he made them feel young, attractive and wanted.
So few men notice the details that when a woman find one who does, she can't help but be a little intrigued, flattered and.........interested.
Meanwhile the men that have us running for the trees are all about themselves.
Their good looks soon wear off after they’ve subjected us to hours of ‘man’ talk. I’ve sat through lectures on American football, snooker technique and even intimate details of how to string and electric guitar.
I listened intently too.
I was doing my ‘best ever girlfriend in the world routine’. It worked for a while too until my boredom threshold could take no more of it.
It’s not just man talk that turns us women off, it’s ‘man habits’. Picking of nose, releasing of wind, belching, scratching. These habits arise when the man has reached his comfort zone. He feels loved, safe and relaxed enough to indulge in these ungentlemanly rituals.
I never want a bloke to feel so loved up he can relax that much!
I jest of course, being in love requires that you love their little foibles.
But be warned fellas, if you fart early in the relationship, it could be the end of it!
