The Egg and Sperm Race - Why Men Are Studs and Women Are Sluts

In today’s modern world, with so much equality for men and women and the rise of feminism, IT girls and ladette culture women are more likely now to hop into bed with a man they just met a few hours ago, than they ever would or could before.

This is not all women of course but for those highly sexed, free thinking women, this might be quite acceptable behaviour and if men can do it and not be labeled as a ‘slag’ why can’t women?

Why do men (and women) still view women who behave this way as ‘easy’?

Obvious and immediate answers are that they should have more respect for themselves and their bodies. But then this could apply to the men too, but it doesn’t does it? Men can have numerous sexual partners and yet they are labeled stud and still the women compete for their attention. No one competes for the attention of ‘easy’ women.

So why despite the advance of women as equals is it still the case that when it comes to being equal partners in matters of sex, with equal ‘stud’ status the balance is still very much in favour of the men?

I believe I have an answer. Could it be quite simply that if we go back to basics and look at this attitude from a survival point of view, on a deep subconscious level men quite simply do not want their sperm competing with the sperm of others for that egg!

Men are designed so to speak to sow their seed as far and wide as possible whereas women are supposed to choose a mate carefully in order to produce fine offspring. So on this very basic level it makes sense for women to behave with caution in matters of sex, and for men to behave with wild abandon. Not that I approve of this mind you – but it seems to be the case.

This ‘survival of the fittest’ instinct could be what drives the attitude that women who sleep around are easy yet men who sleep around are studs. We just don’t realise it. But even upon realising it, there is little we can do, as this ‘attitude’ towards the sexes and sex appears to be innate!
