Hiring a String Quartet for your Wedding Ceremony

Have you ever thought of hiring a string quartet for your wedding, ? The quartet normally consists of 2 violins a viola and a cello. They can play for the guests arriving, setting the scene for your special day. Perform pieces of your choosing through the service , for the signing of the register as well as for the exit processional.. The choice is entirely up to you , although check with whomever is officiating as to the suitability of the music

A string quartet can add that certain je ne sais quois to enhance the celebration. There is a huge musical repertoire available and a good string quartet will change seamlessly from playing classical pieces such as Handel's Hornpipe from ‘The Water Music Suite' to ‘All You Need is Love ‘by the Beatles.

If you are not sure what music to choose , have a chat with the quartet. They might well have a CD with a samples of their repertoire that you can listen to.

Have a look at the quartet's web site to see what their testimonials are like. You might even be able to chat to previous clients about their experiences of the quartet.

If your choice of music is not on the repertoire, have a chat with the quartet a few months before the wedding to see if they can put together a special arrangement for your day The versatility of a string quartet is infinite .
