A writers song for Autumn
by The Pirate of Soleas Port(1)Walking along and old winding trail
Looks like autumns just around the bin.
We meet just about here every year, me and autumn my old freind.
I bring the wide wicker basket.
And i'm headed for that old maple tree
And my old freind autumn shakes down the brown brown leaves.
April is always beautiful, may and june just the same
But my ole freind autumn, when October comes it sure does me good to see you again.
chourse
And i can count on you to bring your yellows and your browns and your reds that never fade.
And you can count on me to tuck myself in by the fire and write another page.
And the lobster boats are all tied up, to take thier rest from the sea.
the old men who tie thier boats will come to town to get thier beards trimmed up all nice and neat
And as i gather fire wood i see a mama deer, and a baby doe that tags along
And as i make my way through the wooded trails i hum this ole autumn song.
