I always wondered how the world becomes one's oyster. Oyster as you know is a sea creature with hard shells. Do we become like the pearl in the oyster? Anyway, that is just a saying we will use for Internet and shopping for vibrators or other sex toys.

I don't know if my mother ever used a vibrator, I never asked her and I don't plan to ask ever but I know that in their time it was very hard to get a vibrator. Did you ever thought why people bought those useless vibrating massage machines? Because they were small and because they were vibrating, of course. I never heard anybody say this mini vibrating massage gadget came very good for my aching joints. In fact I never heard anybody talk about those message tools. I think that is because after a short time everybody realized how they were used. Anyway, when our mothers were at our age they couldn't go to a sex shop and but the sex toys they were curious about. However they had some mail order catalogues. How many sex toys can you put in a mail order catalogue? First of all it shouldn't be a mail order catalogue designed only for sex toys because nobody would want to be caught looking at it. Choices were a few, discretion was difficult and people were conservative about these subjects.

I can't put my finger on what happened and opened our way but somewhere along the history everything started to be easier. I don't think it is because of the free love nonsense of the 60's because most of the young people we watch naked in Woodstock videos grew out to be conservative family guys and ladies. Maybe it was the Internet and the new age of information. The borders between countries really lost all of their meanings and every person living anywhere started to get the same information with ease.

Mail order catalogues have a limit of products they can contain. Sex shops also have a limit. How many vibrators can you put in a sex shop? This sounded like the starting of a joke but in reality it is not a joke. The internet literally contains countless brands, types and styles of vibrators and sex toys. The only down side is that you can't touch the products before you buy them. However I can say that I never touched the product either when I was buying from the sex shop. I was always in a hurry to get what I want and return home before anybody I know sees and recognizes me. Now we sit in front of our notebooks on our favorite chairs and shop in the World Wide Web. We don't have to choose from a catalog or go o a sex shop and try to tell what we need to an 18 year old clerk with pimples and a red face. The world is our oyster and the pearl is ours to take. If you prefer vibrating pearls that would give us the pleasure of the entire world.
