Dress Like A Royal

The hot topic on everyone's lips right now is the royal wedding. The wedding isn't just hitting the headlines amongst the UK media; the event has the world media in frenzy. With only nine days to go until the big day what everyone wants to know most is what Kate and William will be wearing on the day. One thing is for sure, you can expect something special.

Newspapers, lifestyle magazines and fashion designers across the globe are speculating on the royal's wedding day attire. The general conception is that Prince William will be suited and booted in in full military uniform however; it will be less elaborate as a standard uniform. Prince William will be without the full uniform decorations due to the amount of time he has spent serving his country. His grand-father on the other hand will likely to be ablaze with medals, frogging and gold work which should look spectacular; his wedding attire is definitely one to watch out for.

Amongst the frenzy some people might have overlooked what the queen is going to be wearing. Most probably the queen is likely to be dressed highly elegantly rather than fashionably. The queen is also a big fan of jewellery and often wears sentimental pieces to state occasions. The biggest decision for the queen will be what jewellery to wear as she has the largest private jewellery collection in the world.

Finally, what most people are looking forward to is what the princess will be wearing. Fashion journalists think that Kate might be receiving some of the jewels from Princess Diana which she may have re-set. Her dress however is under close wraps and no-one yet knows which designer will be working on the dress. This is going to be one of the highlights of the day; everyone can expect her to be elegant and fashionable. Kate is always the pinnacle of elegance and style and you can be sure that whatever she will wear will be filtering into the high street stores later this year.

A final point is that even though the dress attire for some of the royals will have a military feel most people will be in morning suits due to the time of the wedding around 11am. These morning suits are another item that will be closely followed by fashion designers and journalists. Again, you will find many stores producing quality imitations of royal wedding suits. You can take a look online as well for suit tailors if you want to see some examples of royal wedding morning suits and waistcoats.
