This Amazing Bridge In Vietnam Looks Like It’s Straight Out Of Middle Earth

Back in June, one of the world’s most amazing bridges was opened to the public. Found on the Ba Na Hills in Da Nang, Vietnam, the Golden Bridge is something out of a fantasy movie—allowing those who pass by to be lifted above the clouds by two enormous hands. Those who walk the bridge are given fantastic views of the hillside while they stroll through a magnificent tourist retreat.

Lifted In The Skies

The Golden Bridge towers 1,400 meters above sea level and spans almost 150 meters, giving visitors an incredible view of the beautiful Vietnam countryside.

The spectacular bridge is located in the tourist retreat of Thien Thai Garden and is definitely giving travelers an experience to remember, with photo opportunities to match.

Humble Hands

The beautifully sculpted hands are decorated with earthy colors, accenting the serenely beautiful landscape of the Ba Na Hills. Although the giant hands lifting the bridge may appear to be stone, they are actually made from a different material you would never think to guess.

“We designed the skeleton of the hands and covered them with steel meshes,” a representative of the company that built the bridge, TA Landscape Architecture, said“Then we finished with fiberglass and added the theming on it. The entire construction of the bridge took about a year.”

Teeming With Tourists

The country of Vietnam has experienced a major surge in tourism recently, receiving 1.5 million visitors each year. The Golden Bridge is part of a $2 billion investment in tourism, hoping to bring even more new visitors to Vietnam to enjoy its spectacular beauty.
