James Woods Targets Anderson Cooper In Homphobic Tweet

Hollywood actor and known conservative James Woods took a swipe at CNN’s Anderson Cooper via Twitter in response to Cooper’s eye-rolling when the CNN reporter was interviewing White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway days earlier.

Woods tweeted on Friday “As his butt plug dislodges during a newscast…#andersoncoopereyeroll” referring to the GIF he attached to the tweet showing exactly that – Cooper’s eye roll in question.

It came in response to an incident in which Conway was being interviewed by Cooper on CNN about President Donald Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey. Cooper rolled his eyes as Conway made a passing comment about President Trump winning in Michigan.

Cooper’s eye rolling became viral and over the next few days video clips, memes, and GIFs blew up on social media.

While most liberals are celebrating what Cooper did, actor woods, who is a known Trump supporter, found Cooper’s manner offensive. To get his message across, he used one of the Cooper eye roll GIFs and tweeted it with a caption that taunted Cooper’s openly-gay lifestyle.

Liberal celebrities and members of the media fired back at Woods for the alleged “homophobic rant.”

Perez Hilton, a famous blogger and television personality, replied to Wood’s tweet through a GIF with the words “You’re disgusting, pathetic, delusional fool!”

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Dorinda Medley agreed with Perez and tweeted, “Ummmm thank you @PerezHilton I couldn’t have said it better!”

Most people will immediately delete what they posted in order to avoid further backlash and negative publicity, but apparently not Woods. He is too proud of his tweet to just delete it and instead of letting it be, the actor even retweeted his “butt plug” tweet.

To date, James’s post has been retweeted almost 7,000 times and garnered almost 16,000 likes from twitter subscribers.
