Looking To Get Ripped? One Fitness Blogger Says Ditch The Booze
In 2018, it seems like people are always selling the next big weight loss secret. But in the midst of all the magazine headlines and online scams, there is one fact that rings true in the fitness and bodybuilding world: cutting out alcohol will do your figure wonders.
And fitness blogger Jelly Devote is a true testament to that statement.
A Total Transformation
On the left, we see Jelly before the transformation, holding what seems to be a rather large alcoholic beverage. And to the right, we see her now. She doesn’t drink alcohol very often and attributes her new figure to downing water instead.
You can’t blame her for ditching the booze, either. Alcoholic drinks are full of sugar. With just one vodka cranberry adding up to 170 calories, you can see how two or three in a night (plus snacks) can really add up!
No doubt, Jelly looks amazing. But her transformation on the inside is just as impressive as her new physique.
A Look Behind The Glow Up
As the girl on the left, Jelly never dared find out much she weighed due to poor self-esteem. As the girl on the right, she now sees that weight is just a number, and one you shouldn’t be worried about.
“Weight doesn’t matter, you matter,” Jelly said. “How you feel about yourself. Don’t focus on a number that can fluctuate 5kg in two days.”
Balance Over Everything
Even though Jelly hits the gym hardcore, she knows the benefit of staying balanced when her body is telling her it absolutely needs something.
“So remember what I said about balance?! Today I had more carbs for breakfast than usual, to help my body. I also had a chicken burger 🍔 (skipped the bun and fries, except maybe two that happens to end up in my mouth 🍟) with grilled vegetables and a slice of cheese 🧀 and all the mayonnaise 😋 .” Jelly stated in an Instagram post.
Yeah, I’ll have what she’s having.
