You Have To See The Hilarious Woman Who Recreates Celebrity Instagrams
Australian comedian, Celeste Barber, has taken Instagram by storm. Her hilarious recreations of celebrity photos upstage the original versions every time. Barber pokes fun at absurdly unrealistic celebrity posts by recreating her own. Using props, costumes, and often her husband and friends she’s created some amazing renditions. Her hysterical takes are even better than the celebrity originals.
It’s All About Timing
In this hilarious shoot, Barber recreates Gisele Bündchen flipping her hair in the ocean. With the caption, “It’s all about timing”, Barber makes a pained face while flipping her hair in slow motion. Although Gisele looks a little more graceful in the sunset, you can’t beat that expression.
Mating Call Prep
Barber’s captions might be even funnier than her photos. In this side by side, Ciara is putting on mascara in the bathroom. With her caption, “Mating Call Prep”, Barber recreates Ciara’s photo as if she’s getting ready for a date. We’ve all made that face when applying mascara. Nailed it.
How She Celebrates Two-Million Followers
When Barber wanted to celebrate having two million followers on Instagram, her choice of photo and caption were spot on. Barber writes, “When I was thinking how to celebrate two million followers I realized getting into the fridge in heels, a blonde wig and using 26,733 filters was the obvious choice. It’s so crazy that my boo #nickiminaj had the same idea. SNAP!”
With her title, “perspective” Barber wins at Instagram captions again. In this recreation, model Karlie Kloss stands in a drained pool while Barber stands in her bathtub. If it isn’t ridiculous enough to be standing in a drained pool or bathtub with dresses on, her facial expression is everything.
When You Just Can’t Let Go Of Summer
Barber pokes fun at model/actress, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, as she casually lounges in a pool wearing an evening gown. In her version, Barber wears a thick wool turtleneck sweater with the caption, “When you just can’t let go of summer“. Well, Celeste, we can’t let go of this picture.
