Paralyzed Bride Surprises Groom When She Stands Up At The Entryway

Jacquie Goncher was a 25-year-old bride, about to marry the love of her life. From the time she was 17, she lived her life in a wheelchair, but she had a dream. She dreamed one day she would walk down the aisle and marry the man she loved.

The Terrible Accident

When Jacquie was 17 years old, she dove into a swimming pool and her head hit the bottom. She was instantly paralyzed from the neck down and doctors told her she would never walk again. Six months after her prognosis, she stood up. Jacquie was determined not to spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair.

When she met Andy, and they decided to marry, she made it her mission to realize her dream of walking down the aisle, so she got to work.

A Lot Of Hard Work

For the year they planned their wedding, Jacquie spent 6 days a week at the gym, strengthening her body. She had a goal, and she had the support of her fiance behind her. No one else knew of her wedding plans, except Andy. She spent as much time as she could in physical therapy and the gym, so when the time came, she would be ready.
