These Aussie Firefighters Posed With Animals For A Charity Calendar And The Results Are Burning Hot
Firefighters are among the most adored public servants. Not only do they keep us safe, but they put their lives on the line to fight fires and perform rescue missions just about every day. As if we don’t love these guys enough, here’s a new reason. A group of firefighters from Australia posed for a charity calendar for 2019. The photos are somehow both adorable and sexy at the same time.
Wombat In The Outback
Known as the Australian Firefighters Calendar, the charitable entity was established back in 1993. Since then, the group has donated funds to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Westmead Children’s Hospital Burns unit, and more. With such attractive subjects, it’s no wonder why the calendar is so popular.
Double The Trouble
This year, the calendar introduced a new addition to its photo subjects: kittens. This was after a Facebook post featuring a firefighter with kittens went viral. Due to such an overwhelming response from the Internet, there is now an entire calendar devoted to cats and Australian firefighters set for 2019.
Cuddly With Koalas
It’s hard to get over how absolutely steamy and adorable these photos are, and the sexy lifesavers definitely help. The calendars are so wildly popular, in fact, that the group has raked in more than $1 million. They contributed the funds to helping burn units in Australia purchase important medical equipment and expand their workforce.
A Purrfect Trio
What’s more, the proceeds have also funded critical research and trials to learn more about how to effectively treat burn wounds. They’re seeking to reduce painful treatments for children who suffer from burns. For 2019, the Australian Firefighters Calendar has chosen to donate all the proceeds from the new calendar to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
