One subscriber, James Harrison @JamesWHarrison, tweeted that “Liberal do have the hottest politicians. Trudeau, Macron, Cashman…”

Another is expecting the emergence of a lot of fan fiction about Macron and Trudeau in a tweet saying “Let the Macron-Trudeau fan fiction begin!”

Others even joked about Trudeau conceding and asking if Macron is hotter than him. Senior editor of Business Insider, Josh Barro, tweet “Justin Trudeau has called Emmanuel Macron to concede in the race for Sexiest G7 Leader”.

A parody account, Trudeau Googles @TrudeauGoogles, tweet “is macron hotter than me”. These are just some of the witty banters on twitter about two of the youngest world leaders who appeal to the new generation.

The various social media content about Macron and Trudeau just proves that gone are the days when politicians were pitted against each other because of their principles, leadership style, and profound intellectual ability.

In a world obsessed with external looks, the scrutinizing eyes of the social-media public are more apparently more concerned about who is sexier and hotter.

Emmanuel Macron who, just a few hours ago, won a landslide victory as new President of France, is not only known as a young and ambitious politician but also for his skills in seducing a married woman with three kids who is 24 years his senior when he was only 16 years old.

Macron married his former teacher, Brigitte Trogneux, in 2007 after the latter left his husband to be with Macron.

Macron’s biographer, Anne Fulda, told BBC, that “He [Macron] wants to give the idea that, if he was able to seduce a woman 24 years his senior and a mother of three children, in a small provincial town… despite opprobrium and mockery, he can conquer France in the same way.”
