Mischievous 6-Year-Old Goes On An Amazon Shopping Spree Without Her Parents Knowing

Children don’t have the best self-control. When they want something, they will do anything to get it as fast as possible. Fortunately, there are obstacles that usually get in their way. For example, they can’t drive to the store and they don’t have access to money. However, sometimes kids find a way around these obstacles. That’s how this one girl was able to surprise her mother with $350 worth of items she didn’t want.

Bound For Disaster

Our story begins when one Utah mother wanted to give her daughter, Caitlin, a birthday present. She decided to let her six-year-old order a Barbie doll off of Amazon. Of course, she had adult supervision during the transaction.

The mother thought there was no harm in letting her child use her credit card for a single purchase. She would soon find out that she was wrong. Her daughter was much sneakier than she ever could have imagined.

The Big Surprise

After she ordered the Barbie doll, Caitlin asked to track it on the computer. She was so excited to get her present in the mail that her mom just couldn’t say no. That’s when Caitlin discovered the beauty of one-click buying.

She ordered a ton of toys—$350 worth to be exact. She even paid extra for one-day shipping. When they arrived at their house the next day, Caitlin’s mom was surprised, to say the least.

Mischief Managed

In the long run, Caitlin’s stunt didn’t cause too much damage. Her family decided that they would donate all of the toys to a local Children’s Hospital.

Caitlin wasn’t grounded and was allowed to keep the Barbie doll she was originally given permission to purchase. We do feel bad for the delivery man, though. Having to unload all of those boxes must have been exhausting!
