According to US Weekly, Perry was engaging fans during an Instagram Live session on April 29. When a question from a fan caught her eye, she then said to the camera, “Oh, someone says, ‘I miss your old black hair.’” Comparing her black hair to Obama, she then added in a sarcastic tone, “Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Oh, OK. Times change. Bye! See you guys later.”

Perry then looked around to her friends in the car to see if they got her joke. “I should leave now,” she said while laughing. The pop singer then finished the feed after one of her friends can be heard saying, “OK, you’re cut off.”
