Pit Bull Rushes Into Mom’s Bed ‘Fiercely Growling’ And It Ends Up Saving Little Boy’s Life

Dogs are secretly angels in fur coats. A canine’s sensitivity will cause them to leap into action when something is wrong, quickly alerting humans during times of trouble. When a rescued pit bull recognized one of her humans was having a seizure, she immediately grabbed a family member’s attention to get help. Pit bulls often have a bad reputation, but this story proves that any dog in a loving home can truly be a lifesaver.

Family First

Adore-A-Bull, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a refuge that focuses on placing pit bulls in good homes with adoring families. Some people may fear that pit bulls are naturally vicious or destructive, but Ember was a sweetheart, loyal, and happy to build bonds with her adopted family.

Adore-A-Bull Rescue

The Daniels family noticed that Ember became very protective of their ten-year-old son, Tre Daniels, who suffered from seizures. Every night at bed, Ember would proudly sit guard at the foot of Tre’s bed.

No Ruffian

One night, Tre’s mother heard bizarre noises coming from Ember. The pit bull was insistent about getting Mrs. Daniel’s attention, as Tre was having a seizure. Tre’s mom followed Ember, where she found her son listless in the bathtub.

Thanks to Ember’s quick thinking, Tre was rushed to the hospital for treatment and was able to return home after being stabilized. Despite Ember’s exterior, she proved that she had loving instincts and was incredibly loyal. She never left Tre’s side, ever, and acted wisely without special training.

Prize Winning Pit Bull

Ember’s actions moved Tre’s family to speak up for pit bulls, in hopes of changing rigid opinions about the breed. When Ember was entered into a” Petco holiday wish campaign,” she beat out the competition and took home a prize of $10,000.

Life With Dogs

Paying things forward, Ember’s prize money was used to help Adore-A-Bull and the organization’s work. Dogs of all breeds naturally want to protect, love and be loved by caring families. Ember’s family does what they can to help change people’s negative attitudes about pit bulls.
