Snoop Dogg Heard The Viral Story Of Abandoned Dog Named Snoop, And Offered To Adopt The Pooch

In desperate times, pets are often the first to go. When a dog was abandoned in Staffordshire, England, and caught on camera, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals shared the video to bring awareness to the pup’s plight, who they named Snoop. The video touched many animal lovers, including the Dogg-father, himself!

Dropped By The Side Of The Road

On December 17, a CCTV camera caught a man dropping his dog off by the side of the road. After leaving the animal on the street, the man returns to his car, and the confused dog follows him. The video shows heartbreaking footage of the dog standing on his hind legs, attempting to jump back into the car with his owner.

The following week, RSPCA media manager Rachel Butler shared the video on Twitter with a plea for followers to come forth with any information about the man. She also mentioned the dog is safe and healthy.

Snoop Is A Sensation

The footage went viral and touched many people. Snoop, as the RSPCA named the abandoned pup, became an instant star. He even caught the attention of another famous Snoop – rapper Snoop Dogg.

The hip hop mogul reached out to the Daily Mail with an offer to bring Snoop (the dog) to his Dogg House: “It is heartbreaking. There is always room for another dog in Casa de Snoop. If he really needed a home then he has one with us.”

A New Beginning

“But I don’t think,” Snoop added, “there is going to be any shortage of loving homes after all the exposure he has got.” It’s true — thousands of inquiries have been pouring in about Snoop and many folks are interested in supplying his furever home.

Though he’s not ready yet for adoption, the RSPCA reports on the Facebook page, he’s comfortable and enjoys cuddling with the staff. Wishing Snoop the best of luck. Maybe he should take Snoop Dogg up on his offer — we bet his pad is not too shabby.
