The former gymnast often shows off her fitness skills, along with posting entertaining comedy videos. Her YouTube success inspired her to invest in a $4.6 million house in Los Angeles’ luxurious Encino neighborhood, where she resides with her husband, Matt Yoakum.

TikTok fame

Over the years, Zamolo was shown in videos of plenty of popular YouTube and TikTok creators, including Maddie Ziegler, JoJo Siwa, Sofie Dossi, Bratayley, and many more. As her audience started using TikTok, she quickly managed to accumulate more than 13 million followers and adapted her content to follow the app’s entertaining style.

Zamolo also became popular by posting videos on her fitness TikTok account, which she runs together with her cousin and best friend, Maddie Gray. However, her official TikTok account makes her one of the most popular creators on the platform.

What you didn’t know about Rebecca Zamolo

Zamolo is one of the most beloved YouTubers for people who enjoy fun-loving, drama-free content. There’s a reason why Zamolo loves fitness and surrounds herself with sporty characters. She started training as a competitive gymnast when she was just nine years old. She also became a professional cheerleader for the San Jose Sabercats, which is when she first started appearing in commercials and discovered a love for performing. Her comedy skills eventually paid off and landed her a spot on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Eventually, Zamolo moved to Los Angeles to dedicate more time to her acting career and fell in love with social media.

In 2014, Zamolo married a fellow YouTube creator Matt Yoakum, also known as Matt Slays. His channel is focused on making music, in addition to cinematography, short projects, and video editing. The two remain a YouTube power couple, successfully avoiding any drama that comes with being an online creator

In 2017, Zamolo revealed that she battled a serious illness called IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). She released a documentary that highlighted her eight year struggle with the disease hoping to spread awareness. Zamolo also revealed that living with IBD also triggered severe anxiety symptoms. Her ability to keep things real is an added attraction on a form of media where many of her peers try to hide their real lives.

How much money does she earn?

It’s not surprising that Zamolo was able to successfully monetize her content. She has savvy content that is not controversial, and her fun-loving and entertaining videos have exposed her to a wide audience. This has been key in attracting huge brands looking for influencers that cater to a young demographic. As of 2020, her net worth reportedly stands at an impressive $5 million, which is supported by SocialBlade earnings reports.

Along with her own channel, she makes sure she generates income from other sources such as her YouTube channel with her husband Matt, which has over 4 million subscribers. While it’s difficult to determine her exact income, it’s clear that Zamolo has discovered a true formula to success with her fun videos. Whether it’s on Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok, she has proved she can adapt to any social media platform and create a loyal fanbase that absolutely loves her content.
